Friend or Foe?

A Quest For Truth

Father, God
Are you friend or foe?
Forgive my doubts
It is hard to know.

I am lonely and lost
Filled with despair
Don’t you hear my prayers?
Life is not fair!

My pain is so deep
I am drowning in grief
It is too much to bear
Please, tell me you care.

You are supposed to be a King
And do miraculous things
Is it too much to ask
To be spared such calamity?

I am begging you, please
Help me to see
When I am down on my knees
You have not forgotten me.

I need to know
They are not just clichés
The things Christians say
To comfort my pain.

When I am finally broken
And can no longer kneel
May I know you never left
For, you carry me instead.

I am also the creator of the “Books of Hope," which combine my passion for life and photography with a quest for the truth (coming soon!) All of this is a hope to turn tragedies into triumphs, and a testament of how good can conquer evil every time. Please join me on this journey known as, "His Testimony."
