Lord, Don’t Let Me Quit!

January 30, 2013

A Quest For Truth

I am tired and nearly spent
I give my all – 100%
It’s never enough
May it be worth it.

I feel so weak
I’m on my knees
I need your strength
Lord, help me please.

I cry out -
Anguish and despair
I believe You
Not Satan’s snares.

When hardest pressed
May I endure the test
Persistence is key to
Harvest fruit from the tree.

Lord, help me remember
You always see
You count every tear
So You can redeem me.

Your strength is made perfect
In moments like these
When I’m at my weakest
And I’m on my knees.

May I never forget
In a world of judgment
Your grace is sufficient
With You, I’ll rise above it!

    Jessie-
Praying God’s strength and encouraging you in your faith. You express clarity on how we are to meet God – on our knees and with humility. I pray His love in your life. I pray your faith grows. I pray you see that God and His children love you so very much. Embrace Him this day

I have been under the weather since the weekend before christmas, but know you are always in my prayers Jessie! This is one of the most beautiful prayers I have ever read! It is very inspiring and has lifted my morning. Stay strong for He will refresh and renew you, for even the Lord got tired in His travels on this earth. God is your strength and shall lift you! God bless you and know you are loved always my sister! Have a wonderful and blessed day and a uplifting weekend!

My friend, it is always good to hear from you and I’m so sorry you haven’t been feeling well. To be reminded that even our Lord got tired while living here does my soul good. I will keep you in my prayers and rest well, my brother. Christian Love, Jessie
