My Poetry

Within these poems is the bittersweet journey of one victims struggle
to become a survivor and to remain a believer.

It is a hope to turn tragedies into something valuable,
and a testament of how good can come out of evil every time.

  • A Voice  –  For the woman who is raped, And carries the blame…
  • Alone  –  Standing here all alone, I wonder if I can be seen, I am deep in thought with tears…
  • An Artist’s Palette  –  I am so broken, Falling apart, A thousand pieces, Strewn like art…
  • And Yet, I Love  –  Realistic are the nightmares as I fight in my sleep, Screaming bloody rages of the things that I’ve seen…
  • Assist A Seeker, Save Their Soul  –  Our greatest purpose as we see, Servants of Christ we must be…
  • Born Void… – Sorrow I feel that you will never know, The deeply affective states which move our souls…
  • Called To Serve ~ Pain and pride Are in our stride Shouldered to protect Innocent lives
  • Changes (contradictory)  –  My biggest battle comes from within, My biggest fear, I see in the mirror…
  • Choices  –  Those traumas I’ve faced have not been easy, I’ve often questioned their value in tears…
  • Daddy   –  I have divorced myself from you, You’re not my daddy anymore…
  • Don’t Trust The Past  –  And if I dared to speak a word, I never challenged what I heard, Or quickly whipped into my place…
  • Enable Us  –  Enable us to accomplish the impossible, That they might know Your glory…
  • Exposed! – I love who you pretended to be, An honorable man full of integrity…
  • For HimI dream, I hope, I love… Unconditionally, May you see His light, Shining in me…
  • Good Grief!  –  How good is grief for our growth, It makes us travel certain roads…
  • Happy Veteran’s Day ~ to the hero’s of our land, For a time that’s bittersweet, Because of you we still stand!
  • Hospitality – …And may our actions portray the words we say, For love is not love until it’s given away.
  • I Beseech You, Lord – Take me, break me and make me dear Lord, Just what You want me to be…
  • If Jesus Spoke To Me  –  My child listen carefully, To all I have to say, You are never alone, I am here to stay…
  • In The Flesh  –  May my words fall silent, If my tongue wants to lie…

  • Many Fears – Fear to gain and then to lose, Fear to dream whatever I choose…

  • Only One  –  A loyal partner I vow be, Your biggest fan, just wait and see…
  • Remember Jesus  –  If ever I grow weary, With the weight of my load, May I remember Jesus, Who carried His cross alone…
  • Romans 15:13 inspired  –  Father God if I Believe, I Pray it’s evident for all to see…
  • Safe Embrace – Soft whispers in my ear, Explicit, candid and sincere…
  • Say Good-bye – Am I not worthy of your tears, Of saying good-bye after all these years…
  • Scars are Beautiful – Do not tell me I am beautiful, If my scars you have not seen, The ones burned deep into my flesh, And my very being
  • Set it Free, This Child in Me  –  I want to sing and dance with my arms lifted high, Grow a set of wings and soar into the sky…
  • Someones Child  –  They curse my name, I feel so bad, For I am hated, By my mom and dad…
  • Song – Touch the sun, become a star, Dance with the moon, find who you are…
  • Teach Me, Lord – Teach me to walk slower Lord, So that I may truly see, All of the wonderful treasures…
  • The Evil Conductor – My humanity became your playground…
  • The Gardener – Do not grow weary from the training, A gardener must cultivate His seed…
  • The Simplicity of Gratitude  –  May my attitude, And the words I say, Reflect my gratitude, And prayers of thanks…
  • The Truth  –  The truth you did not want to hear, Though you acted most sincere, You coaxed and claimed it was safe…
  • To Commit a Sin  –  Every time I commit a sin, I bury the whip into His flesh…
  • To Live As I Pray  –  I never tried to share the load, Of another brother’s along the road, Therefore my Father’s love I never showed…
  • To Share Our Burdens  –  How might I bless you from above, If never you ask and trust in love…
  • To Wound Thyself ~ Are you harder on yourself than you need to be… Ripping and destroying your humanity?
  • Unforgettable – I fear my tears and all they portray…
  • untitled  –  I will soar although I crawl, Can’t keep me down though I may fall…
  • What Our Mess Reveals – There is beauty within our struggles, And our sweet and tender tears…
  • Where Is God When It Hurts?  –  I wonder where He is, He is being whipped and nailed for sins He didn’t commit…
  • Would I Ever Know Jesus?  –  If I never had trials, Or tribulations to bear, Would I bow with submission, To my Father in prayer…
  • YOU are NOT… My master, my ruler or my owner…
  • You Think You Won  –  You’re not sorry for things you say, Words like daggers you curse my name…
  • You Tucked Me In  –  Sweet dreams you said and quietly left, with each of us girls tucked in our beds…
