Get in the Game!

Inspiration, Soul Seeds

Get In The Game!Sometimes life throws us one curve ball after another. In fact, isn’t it just a given? Is life not full of one challenge after another? Have you ever thought to yourself, “ya, but I think I’ll just sit this one out.” Granted, too much swinging can be tiresome, but curve balls are good because life’s challenges are nothing more than opportunities for change and growth. However, I will be the first to admit it can be difficult to hang onto this perspective in the midst of (what might seem to be) a losing game.

Soul Seeds…
A Blessing in Disguise!

I believe that each challenge Satan throws our way is a blessing just waiting to happen. Not that God needs a reason to bless us, but what a wonderful opportunity for Him to demonstrate His love and character to the world. So the next time trouble rolls your way, I challenge you to look for the good which may come from it. And the next time life throws you a curve ball, don’t sit in the side lines for fear of striking out. Instead, step up to the plate expecting to hit a home run!

Hi Jessie, this is a great, inspirational post, thank you! Life through us a curve ball last fall when I dropped off of blogville and it’s a curve ball that will be with us for awhile until we find out the ending…My family would love to sit this one out, but we have no choice, so we’re riding it through and holding on tight to each other and to our faith…sigh…it’s good to see you, my friend, and I hope you’re doing okay, too…sending hugs and blessings your way, Lauren xx

I wish you and your family could sit this one out too, my dear friend and I am so sorry for your tribulations. The family you have is such a gift… keep hanging onto eachother and never, NEVER lose faith! It is SO good to see you back on WordPress too, because you have such an incredible talent for writing and its always such a blessing to get to read your poetry. I will continue to lift you up in prayer and may you feel your Father’s loving arms holding you tight. Love, Jessie

Thanks so much for this inspirational reply, Jessie, and for all of your prayers…we won’t lose faith, but it might wobble a bit! Hugs and Blessings to you, my friend..

Funny you should say that, because my faith has been ‘wobbling’ a bit too. Many last couple of posts were meant to encourage myself just as much as anyone else, I think ;) Warm hugs!

Well, we’ll wobble together and hopefully, our hearts and minds will become still very soon. I know how you feel, Jessie, many times when I post something inspirational, it’s for my benefit, too. Hugs back!

Great advice. God works all things to good and there is wisdom from trials if we choose to look for it.
The best day for you in Jesus’ love!
