A Christmas Challenge:
Pay for someone else’s purchases somewhere. I’m not kidding! If you’ve never been someone’s Secret Santa before you’re missing out on a special opportunity. I usually do this a couple of times a month in some way, shape or form. It’s like a ministry or part of the way I tithe (after giving to the church) and it doesn’t matter if it’s $5.00 or $100.
You might be in a restaurant or coffee shop and quietly tell the cashier you’d like to pay for the next persons tab. You can do this using your card or by leaving “x” amount of dollars to go towards the next purchase(s) until it’s used up. I especially love doing this in thrift stores on Senior’s Day, because many folks there need help. I’ve given a couple hundred dollars before (also making the manager aware) then left knowing several people were going home being blessed because I was blessed.

so we might in turn be a blessing to others.”
