I needed that one today Jessie. It seems I have been in a waiting mode for a while now on some things in my life. I don’t want to give up, but it is hard sometimes.
Understood my friend. You mustn’t give up though, not ever! You know… the statement, “I’ve waited my whole life” is quite often a literal one ~ Yes, we may wait our whole lives (up until that point!) and it may seem like forever, but let your heart fall on that hope and your mind rest in the idea of a chance. Mostly, may your soul have faith and your Spirit still believe, so they can carry you through the unsure times. The alternative of ‘giving up’ means you lose it all ~ The opportunity, the chance, the hope… then goes our faith and belief with it. To me, it just isn’t an option anymore! The true beauty of it is that we really do have a choice ~ I’m going to ‘choose’ to have faith, belief, and hope for things unseen ~ And you’ve got that same power my friend, regardless of how you feel or what the eyes cannot see.
I’ve also found it to be very true that when something hasn’t happened within MY timing, it ends up being because HE was busy being closed doors creating something even better for me ~ I just know and believe that, because He’s proven it to me through out my lifetime already, so how could I not continue to trust Him! And the funniest part… How many times do we end up waiting and trusting only to be more fulfilled than we ever thought possible yet, it came to us in a completely unsuspecting manner, lol! What I’m saying, is He really does know our needs, but He’s so much better at knowing how to fulfill them then we are. Keep trusting your Father Tony… He is all knowing, all loving, and He will answer your prayers, giving you the desires of your heart (even if it isn’t in the ways you think it should be) for it only takes the tiniest spec of faith… That of a mustered seed my friend :)
