If Jesus spoke to me
Kind and gentle I know He’d be
Embracing me with compassion and care
Whispering softly into my ear…
“My child, listen carefully
To all I have to say
You are never alone
I am here to stay.”
“There is nothing you have done
To make me love you less
I know that you are suffering
Let me help you rest.”
“Your pain is OK here
And so is your grief
Accept the safety I offer
And my comfort, please.”
“Allow your tears to fall
Have faith and know I count them all
Worth more than gold – my favorite endeavor
I shall redeem each one for you in Heaven.”
“Find solace in me to heal your heart
I’ll keep your world from falling apart
I’m sorry for those who cannot see
The beautiful gift you are to me.”
“My precious child, my grace is sufficient
Believe and you shall receive
Allow my arms to hold you fast
And trust I will never leave.”

Wow! What a beautiful picture you have painted on the landscape of pain and suffering. This is so beautiful and touching! You are quite the gifted one! I shared this on facebook with my sister, Charlene, who suffers immensely with an “incurable” disease. ~ Thank you for this beauty of a poem of our Saviour’s love, and I so look forward to reading more of your writing. I just saw your photography, and it, too, is so super beautiful. God Bless You! ~ Gracie (gshow) :)

“What a beautiful picture you have painted on the landscape of pain and suffering.”
How wonderful to meet you Gracie and you too, have a beautiful way with words my friend. Thank you for touching my heart and soul with such perfect timing!
Your sister will be in my prayers tonight, as I know what it’s like to suffer with illness and disease. It can seem like such a long and lonely road sometimes, which is even more of a reason why we need Him. HE is always there with us even if no one else is.
Bless you and I appreciate the graciousness of your comment and sharing :)

Wow…what a tender and comforting post. I really like what you said about the tears. Many times when I cry I tell myself its no use and I should shut up because God is not moved by my tears. I say this because I truly believe that God will not move a problem until He has used it to benefit me … even though I may cry. I thank you for helping me to see that my tears important and valuable to Him. It not like I am being ignored.

My dear sister, you are so precious to Him! And how could such a loving and caring Father not care about our tears :) I know as a parent myself, my child’s (genuine) tears touch my soul profoundly. I believe they cleanse our soul and can help us let go and grow ~ for, how can God move the problem if I’m still hanging onto it? I might encourage you to read this poem too, “Where Is God When It Hurts?” and thank you so much for your kindness and honesty. Many blessings to you my friend. ❤
