An Artist’s Palette

November 24, 2011

A Quest For Truth

I am so broken
Falling apart
A thousand pieces
Strewn like art.

In my weakest moments
I cannot see
Grief and despair
Paint a canvas of pity.

I may look a mess
But I guarantee
I have value and purpose
The eye cannot see.

It is easy to forget
The Artist’s vision of me
I’m a precious beautiful gift
To Him who created me.

And it is during these times
He remains busy and unseen
His brush creates miracles
From my shattered being.

I am my Master’s palette
Transparency is free
He will use every piece
Of horror and beauty in me.

And in the end
What the Artist achieves
Is a perfect Masterpiece
And her name is Jessie. (insert your own name here)
