The Simplicity of Gratitude

November 23, 2011

A Quest For Truth

Tears of gratitude
I might convey
For the smallest blessings
That come my way.

Life’s little treasures
That surprise and unfold
Giving us pleasures
Richer than gold.

Perhaps it’s a gift
Of fortunes untold
Something tangible
To have and to hold.

But more than gold
One might receive
A warm embrace
And simple grace.

May my attitude
And the words I say
Reflect my gratitude
And prayers of thanks.

I love the rhyme scheme used here…it flows very well, and of course great subject matter! Thanks for sharing.
